A lavish dinner party becomes an adventure through different dimensions of the macro and microcosm. I Deep Dish dance company Liquid Loft collaborates with artist Michael Blazy to create an imaginative world where salad suddenly becomes forest and nothing is what it seems.

Through live film where the dancers themselves control the camera, sensory impressions and images are created that challenge the audience's perception. The table is full of everything from fruit to sea anemones and through the camera lens these are transformed into a science fiction-like landscape in a metaphor for constant reproduction and change.

Liquid Loft is an explosion of form and colour, but also a reflection on the human desire for control and the thin line between beauty and transience.

Liquid Loft was created in 2005 by choreographer Chris Haring, musician Andreas Berger, dancer Stephanie Cumming and dramaturge Thomas Jelinek. In their performances and installations, Liquid Loft links dance to other forms of contemporary art to create multifaceted all-art works. In 2007 they won the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale for the performance Posing Project B - The Art of Seduction.

Deep Dish is the final part of the series The Perfect Garden Series where Liquid Loft explores how installation, performance and sound can be combined.
