In the Dansens Hus foyer, you can encounter exhibitions, installations and films in various ways linked to contemporary dance.

During the autumn the exhibition Strut Your Stuff will be shown. An exhibition that presents different dance styles based on the African-American dance tradition. From the shimmy and charleston of the 1920s to the hip hop of the 1990s, African American culture has influenced a number of dance styles such as hip hop, dub step, techno, house and electro. In Strut Your Stuff, the styles are presented by artists Sanford Biggers, Keith Haring, Judith Hopf, Yvette Mattern, Adrian Piper and Ina Wudtke.
