Skånes Dansteater invites you to an all-evening performance. M&M&M with three dance works from three highly interesting choreographers: Marina Mascarell, Marcos Morau and Martin Forsberg. The evening is about memories, rituals and nothingness, and ranges from the low-key and simple to the aesthetically sumptuous.

Is nothing really nothing? The work of Martin Forsberg The Extented Version of Nothing recreates the memory of an event and plays with the concept of nothingness. Against looped sound loops, a beige-clad dance quartet asks if the truth is perhaps a void. Forsberg is an internationally active choreographer based in Copenhagen.

In his dance piece The Sway of Her Hips dancer and choreographer Marina Mascarell examines the female soul. We will follow the journey between darkness and light in all the interstices of the soul. Mascarell is often interested in the presence of reality in art. She has previously worked with, among others, Nederlands Dans Theater.

Taking the funeral as his starting point, Marcos Morau places the movements of the body in relation to the surrounding rituals of the And earth you will be again. With humour and playfulness, he challenges the mystery of death. Morau is the founder of his own company, La Veronal. His work is often recognised for its subtlety and unfailing sense of style.

"Skånes Dansteater continues to plough its totally unpredictable path through the terrain of modern dance. Right now a liberatingly non-neurotic company" /Sydsvenskan
