Technology on Elverket

 

Dansens Hus is the largest performance venue for contemporary dance in the Nordic region. Every year we present between 30-40 national and international guest performances on our stages. In addition, we work to develop artistry in various ways to create and present dance to our audience. Right now we are in an exciting development phase where we are establishing a new stage for dance at Elverket in Stockholm and will grow in our operations. Dansens Hus employs about 25 people in production, technology, communication and administration.

Content of the role:

  • Responsibility for the supervision and maintenance of our premises and equipment
  • Managing fault reports and rectifying faults within properties
  • Contact person for the property owner and other contractors in ongoing property maintenance and cleaning services.
  • Be responsible for the purchase of office equipment.
  • Contact person for mail and goods reception
  • Managing keys and code tokens

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience of working in theatre technical areas
  • Valid training certificate for mobile working platforms
  • Experience with SBA

What is important for the role?

We are looking for people who have broad property engineering skills and like to vary their day with different tasks and challenges.

It is required that you have experience in similar tasks. As we have many international guests and employees, good knowledge of English is a requirement. You have good computer skills and an eye for what needs to be done in everyday life. You must be open to changing circumstances and, if necessary, re-prioritise tasks. You have good social skills and enjoy interacting with other staff in the workplace. The role of property manager requires you to be structured, driven and responsible with an eye for the big picture. A high level of safety awareness is an absolute requirement.

Scope of the service

The post is a permanent position, 75% (with a six-month probationary period). Access by agreement.

The position is mainly daytime, but may also include evening work if necessary. Working hours are organised in consultation with the technical manager.
