The artists:

Lars Kleen:

Lars Kleen is known for his large-scale, starkly beautiful objects, which oscillate between visionary architecture, construction and craftsmanship. His expression is raw and poetic at the same time. Kleen was awarded the Sergel Prize in 2010. He is represented at the National Museum in Stockholm, among other places. For Konstparken, Lars Kleen and his collaborators are creating a monumental tower of stacked bricks, rebar and a whole birch tree. We follow the artists' work on site.

Audiorama with invited artists

Audiorama initiates and runs projects focussing on contemporary sound art, radio plays and electroacoustic music. Audiorama commissions, produces and presents new works by composers, sound artists and dramatists.

Audiorama's installation revolves around issues of surveillance and the volatility of information at a time when the value of information is increasing exceptionally. Using digital camera and sound technology, the installation creates real-time audiovisual loops linked to the site.

About Audiorama's artists:

Johanna Brandt works with analogue & digital video technology.
Daniel M Karlsson writes code to organise sound.

Valeria Montti Colque featuring Songs of the in-between

An audiovisual performance piece born from dreams of the meeting lines of opposites. Multidimensional perspectives and horizons in the spaces between city and nature.

A collaboration between the artist Valeria Montti Colque, musician and performing artist Ida Lod (text, vocals, violin), musician and sound artist David Heikkinen (electronics, keyboard) and musician Gustavo Adolfo Zárate Quiero (harmonicas, flutes, headphones).

Participating performance artists: Carlos Martinez, Yarien Rodriguez, Edwin Nordlund, Andres Arango Lopez.

Valeria Montti Colque (b. 1978) was educated at the Royal College of Art in Stockholm. Konsthögskolan in Stockholm. Using painting, collage and large installations, she creates stories inspired by her own life as well as by myths, religions, film and music. Her work often contains symbols and metaphors, where soft meets hard with one foot in Latin American folk art and the other in painterly realism.

Nisrine Boukhari, born in Damascus, Syria, lives and works in Stockholm and Vienna. Her art is about people's dreams, plans, expectations, desperation and hope. What will tomorrow bring? How can we participate in organically creating the city of tomorrow?

Her artistic intervention in the Art Park is about collecting and spreading thoughts about the question: How should tomorrow begin? The artwork is performed in English.
