HYPER is about the great human drama and the cry of the body. Emotions are flushed through the dancers' bodies without filters, allowing the audience to experience extreme states of mind. The performance quietly crawls under the audience's skin, gliding around their inner spaces and confronting the surface as a gateway to what lies beneath and beyond our superficial facade. It is a disarming, quiet work that heals by examining and confronting the inner reality of the boundless body. By diving into a hyper state, an alternative physical pleasure and pain is achieved.

Cullbergbaletten is Sweden's leading repertory company in contemporary dance.
