Victoria Kawesa talks about how black women have been represented in popular culture today and throughout history. Kawesa talks about Beyonc\u00e9, Michelle Obama and others. By highlighting and analysing how the white gaze represents black women's bodies, we can critically reflect on how popular culture reproduces stereotypical images and language.<\/p>\n
