The dancer Charlotta \u00d6fverholm has invited an impressive collection of international and Swedish researchers and dancers to take over Lilla scen. An afternoon of lectures, discussions, film screenings, performances and mingling.<\/p>\n

PROGRAMME<\/h3>\n

12:00-12:30 Anders J.Larsson<\/strong> - Filmmakers premiering the new documentary; I just want to dance<\/em>, where he followed 22 remarkable people aged 68-85 who rehearsed and created the work. STORIES<\/em>and about their feelings and reflections on their own bodies and minds in contact with dance.<\/p>\n

12:30-12:45 Question time<\/strong><\/p>\n

12:45-13:05 Joce Giles<\/strong> - Artistic Director of the Elixir Festival at Sadler's Wells in London, will talk about the festival that celebrates lifelong creativity and highlights the value of older dancers.<\/p>\n

13:05-13:20 Question time<\/strong><\/p>\n

13:30-13:45 Christopher Roman<\/strong> - Former director of The Forsythe Company and Dance On Ensemble, will talk about his visions and hopes as an older dancer and what his plans for this are. It is about responsibility, for our bodies, collaborations, the field, etc.<\/p>\n

13:45-14:00 Question time<\/strong><\/p>\n

14:00-14:15<\/strong> Moderators Ninna Riddarstr\u00f6m and Staffan S\u00f6renson<\/strong> presents the Age on Stage website together with Cecilia Ferm-Almqvist and Ninnie Andersson. <\/strong>Researchers at Lule\u00e5 University of Technology presenting their results and observations from workshops for people 65+.<\/p>\n

14:15-14:45 Mingle with snacks<\/strong><\/p>\n

14:45-15:30 Liz Aggiss<\/strong> - The extraordinary dancer will perform parts of his work. SLAP and TICKLE<\/em>.<\/p>\n

15:30-16:00 Closure<\/b><\/p>\n

Charlotta \u00d6fverholm<\/strong> - Artistic Director of Age on Stage and Compagnie Jus de la Vie, will host the festival and offer a surprise.<\/p>\n

Liz Aggiss<\/h3>\n

Liz Aggiss (UK) is a live performer, dancer, choreographer and dance film maker with a long experience in the industry. Her work is framed by extensive contextual research that considers and utilises the personal and historical as reference. Her performances are distinctive and include text, film and humour. Liz explores and challenges boundaries in dance with a focus on gender politics and the representation of women.<\/p>\n

In 2017, Liz was awarded the Total Theatre Award for her Slap and Tickle, from which she shows excerpts during the festival at Dansens Hus.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Charlotta \u00f6fverholm<\/h3>\n
