In her new work \"Prosthesis\" <\/em>she is joined by musicians Lauri Antila and James Friedman, actor Magnus Krepper, dancers Elena Fokina and Tobias Hallgren + five experienced 70+ people in an evening of humour, darkness, dance, circus, text and live music.<\/p>\n

Since starting the company 'Jus de la Vie' in 1995, Swedish \u00d6fverholm has created over 25 productions, which have toured all over the world. Her work is physical dance theatre with depth, irony, brutality and humour. \u00d6fverholm graduated from the Ballet Academy, Alvin Ailey ADC (NYC). She also has a theatre degree from UCLA in Film\/TV\/Video and from the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute (LA).<\/p>\n
She has a background as a dancer in many companies such as DV8 Physical Theatre \/ Lloyd Newson, Bill T. Jones \/ NYC, Sean Curran \/ NYC, Complexions \/ NYC, Farm i grottan \/ Viliam Docolomansky \/ Prague, Roberto Galv\u00e1n \/ Tanzcompagnie Giessen, Joseph Tmim \/ Tol\u00e1da Berlin, Ramon Oller \/ Metros Barcelona, Robert Poole \/ Ballett Linz, Cie Corinne Lanselle in Paris, Dorte Olesen and Richard Turpin at the Royal Dramatic Theatre and Bj\u00f6rn Elisson Kompani in Stockholm among others.<\/p>\n
Title roles include Death in Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal (Uppsala Stadsteater, Hugo Hans\u00e9n and Benke Rydman), Shakespeare's Hamlet (Landestheatre Linz by Robert Poole), Alice in Alice in Wonderland (Stadttheater Giessen by Roberto Galvan) and Lola in Lola and Mr Prata at the Divadlo Archa (by Jan Kodet) for which she was nominated for a Thalia Award at the National Theatre in Prague CZ in 2005.<\/p>\n
Charlotta choreographs commissioned works for companies such as Norrdans \/ SE, RTV \/ SE, Vertedance Prague \/ CZ, Ballet Linz \/ AU, Tanztheater M\u00fcnster \/ DE, Folkoperan \/ SE and G\u00f6teborg Dance Company \/ SE.<\/p>\n
