P\u00e4ivi Hirvonen is a Helsinki-based musician and composer. She is a master of tradition, while creating something new, in her music and art both sensitivity and strength meet.<\/p>\n<p>During the concert at Dansens hus, Sara Parkman and P\u00e4ivi Hirvonen will explore the playfulness and power of improvisation in music. Through two violins, two voices and two distinct folk music backgrounds in the Swedish and Finnish tradition, their meeting becomes something new and exploratory.
