THE DANCE COMPETITION OF THE YEAR FOR ALL SWEDISH DANCE SCHOOLS!<\/p>\n
After last year's successful competition, it's time again for the Streetstar Dance School Challenge at Dansens Hus!
\nFor the fifth year in a row, Streetstar invites all of Sweden's dance schools to a major dance competition. We want to gather dancers from all dance schools from all over Sweden to showcase their best dance choreographies.<\/p>\n
A unique opportunity for all dancers and audiences to meet in competitions with dance performances, battles and workshops at Dansens Hus during a busy autumn holiday weekend.<\/p>\n
New for this year is that we award prizes in 3 different categories.<\/p>\n
Categories: 8 years -13 years \"New Talent\"<\/p>\n
14 years - 18 years \"Next Generation\"<\/p>\n
19 years - upwards \"Advanced Performance\"<\/p>\n
The jury consists of established choreographers and dancers with great expertise and experience.
\nAll dance styles are represented and our jury judges choreography, technique, musicality, composition, costume and above all the joy of dancing!!!<\/p>\n
The winners of the competition will take home the title of Sweden's Best Dance School!<\/p>\n

Streetstar is a non-profit organisation that creates and produces youth communication and culture. Streetstar was founded in autumn 2005 by Joachim H\u00f6vel and Martin C. Ferretti. Ferretti, our roots and passion come from dance and music. The Streetstar festival annually gathers over 5000 visitors and dancers from over 30 countries.<\/p>\n
