Many species are facing an uncertain future. Although parts of humanity often think they are at the centre of the stage, the real drama takes place behind the scenes: among the gnats and bugs, the chatter and sounds, and in the tactile relationships of dance.<\/p>\n
Stina Nyberg<\/strong>s work, The Dawn Chorus<\/em>, is based on birds dying, but also on the bird as a metaphor for a possible new future.<\/p>\n The bird has an obvious place in the history of dance and has taken centre stage in numerous works. The Dawn Chorus will draw on some of these historic bird dances while taking the liberty of imagining the world from a different perspective. The process-oriented development of the work is an exercise in noticing other details and in listening: to small birds, small stories and small movements.
