For two decades, Hagar Malin Hellkvist Sell\u00e9n has created performing arts with queer and feminist perspectives. Identity-bearing works that have both embraced and challenged the audience. She has repeatedly visited Dansens Hus, most recently in 2019 with Pink promises. <\/em>Finally she is back, this time with a world premiere with us! But this time with the movement as the starting point instead of the theme.<\/p>\n

The time it takes<\/em> is a full evening solo created for and with Norwegian dancer Pernille Holden. Holden has previously participated in Hellkvist Sell\u00e9n's work Naval love,<\/em> Women and forests<\/em> and Better people<\/em>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The time it takes<\/em> does not dress in the language of the written word but communicates through choreography from start to finish.<\/p>\n

The audience is offered a work that is not first described in words but is experienced on its own terms. Bland hennes tidigare verk kan n\u00e4mnas Parveln<\/em> (2017), Mission\u00e4ren<\/em> (2016), Jag minns dig som du var d\u00e5<\/em> (2014), Rosa l\u00f6ften<\/em> (2008) och B\u00e4ttre folk<\/em> (2006).<\/p>\r\n

F\u00f6r f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen Mission\u00e4ren<\/em> tilldelades hon b\u00e5de Svenska Teaterkritikers F\u00f6renings Danspris 2016 och Svenska Regiss\u00f6rsf\u00f6reningens IRIS-pris 2017.
