On 2 May, Gatuverket<\/strong> together with Dansens Hus,<\/strong> presents a packed day of performances, theatre happenings, battles, parties, workshops and inspiring talks.<\/p>\n

Rhythm n\u2019 Moves<\/b> is the first edition of an international street\/club dance festival in Stockholm, taking place from 27 April to 3 May 2026 in several venues, performance spaces and clubs around the city. The festival will feature invited local and international dancers.<\/p>\n

Rhythm n\u2019 Moves is organised by Gatuverket and you can find the festival programme below. The programme is updated continuously.<\/p>\n

Rhythm n\u2019 Moves - Battles<\/h2>\n

For a long time, Stockholm has been without a major international battle in festival format.<\/p>\n

Rhythm n\u2019 Moves - Battle<\/em> spans two days and two stages. Here at the Dansens Hus,<\/strong> on 2 May with qualifying rounds. Quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals will be held on Orion Theatre on 3 May<\/a>.

Black<\/em> is a choreographic confrontation with the violence and struggle that characterise black life in today's society. Through references to Black Lives Matter and the murder of George Floyd, Oulouy questions the place of the black body in the West.<\/p>\n

Paradox-Sal celebrates twelve years of sisterhood, dance and struggle with its first fully self-produced work WOMAN<\/em>, a choreographic declaration of love to the women they have been, are and will be. Performed on the Main Stage and is part of two works performed there during the evening. WOMAN<\/em> cannot be booked separately but is part of the Rhythm of the Night<\/em>!<\/p>\n

Rhythm of the Night!<\/i> is a talk show-inspired evening where street dancers, musicians, DJs & beatmakers meet in playful and insightful forms. Rhythm of the Night! <\/em>is performed on the Main Stage and is part of two works performed there during the evening.<\/p>\n

The programme is presented by Gatuverket, which works with and for street and freestyle dance as a culture and art form, in collaboration with Dansens Hus. Paradoxal Hall with WOMAN<\/em>\u00a0and Oulouy with Black<\/em> is also touring with Dance network Sweden spring 2026<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The programme is organised by Gatuverket with the support of the City of Stockholm, the Swedish Arts Council, Dansens Hus and Orionteatern.<\/p>\n
