We are creating the future of contemporary dance - that is our vision. This means that we not only show what already exists, but also constantly search for new expressions, new voices and new ways to meet the audience. Through our venues, our knowledge and our network, we want to be a catalyst for movement - both artistically and organisationally.<\/p>\n
To achieve this, we build our activities on four cornerstones: guest performances, co-production, collaboration and advocacy. With this as a foundation, we aim to become the Nordic hub for contemporary dance. With us, both creators and audiences should be able to explore, take risks and grow. Our approach to the art, the audience and the organisation is characterised by inclusion, diversity, courage and generosity.<\/p>\n
We work in a long-term and sustainable way - both socially and environmentally - and see financial stability as a prerequisite for artistic freedom. A balanced budget is our starting point for all planning and development.<\/p>\n

It is with these words that we drive Dansens Hus forward.<\/p>\n The Dansens Hus Foundation was founded in 1991 by the Royal Opera, Riksteatern, G\u00f6teborgsoperan, Sk\u00e5nes Dansteater, Danscentrum, Dansmuseet and \u00d6stg\u00f6tateatern.
