In his work, Seid Tahir is interested in exploring how archaeological fragments can create dramaturgy. During the residency, Seid Tahir wants to experiment spatially with sound, light and scenography to create the space where the performance will take place.<\/p>\n<h2>Anna \u00d6berg with the work <em>\"Landscapes\"<\/em>.<\/h2>\n<p>In <em>Landscapes<\/em> choreographer Anna \u00d6berg draws inspiration from couple dance as a phenomenon and pulse as a medium to explore how similarities and differences can be traded between the two dancers Viktor Fr\u00f6jd (SV\/house) and Jon Bugge Mariussen (NO\/folk dance) in encounter with sound designer Elize Arvefjord, thereby shaping new and ephemeral landscapes of craft and experience. During the residency at Dansens Hus, \u00d6berg will work on the final technical phase of<em> Landscapes.<\/em> This means finalising and rehearsing the work in full scale with sound, light and set design in focus.<\/p>\n<h2>Sophie Augot with the work <em>\"Kiddo\".<\/em><\/h2>\n<p>The project centres on how today's information flows overload our bodies and easily lead to sensory overstimulation and passivity. As a basic theme in the work, Augot wants to investigate the relationship between physical isolation and psychological escapism. The aim is to use the body as a starting point to find ways of understanding how our nervous systems and movement patterns are affected in such an interaction. In the choreographic work and at the residency at Dansens Hus with <em>Kiddo<\/em> Augot wants to integrate the various dramaturgical parameters of the work, such as sound, lighting and set design, at an early stage in the process.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three Sweden-based choreographers will be awarded a technical residency in 2024-2025. The residency can be used both for the finalisation of a new work, or as an artistic lab to develop new ideas.
