The Dansens Hus Dance Circle is a place where you, as an audience member, get the chance to discuss the performance you have just seen with others!
At four of the season's performances, you have the chance to buy a place in our dance circles. The dance circle meets shortly after the performance in the foyer of Dansens Hus and is led by a discussion leader. The discussion flows freely around issues related to the performance you have all just seen. Talking about dance can be a way to deepen the aesthetic experience of going to see a dance performance by reflecting on what you have just experienced, putting your thoughts into words and sharing the experience with other visitors.
The idea of the dance circle is to create a place where you can talk about, question and share your experience of a dance performance in an undemanding and fun way. Everyone who has seen the dance performance is welcome to participate; whether you have danced all your life, love going to theatre experiences but are not so used to dance, or if you heard about Dansens Hus for the first time yesterday.
In the dance circle, only three rules apply: no question is too stupid, no reaction too unique and no answer is right or wrong!
The dance circles take place after these performances.
- 18 October: Florentina Holzinger
- 15 November: Malin Elgán
- 7 February: Miet Warlop
- 28 February: Alma Söderberg
Please note! You can only attend the dance circles if you buy a ticket for the performance on the day of the dance circle.
