Food & Drink

Prepare for the performance in Kafé Markelius. In our foyer you will find the newly opened café. The menu includes everything from soup, salads, classic sandwiches and generous charcuterie trays to delicious sweets for those who want to round off with something sweet. And why not start the evening with a glass of bubbly. Perfect to gather the company, unwind and let the evening start in the best way. The café is open 1 hour before and 1 hour after the performance. For performances on the Main Stage, the café opens 1.5 hours before the performance. To contact the restaurant directly, email restaurang@houseofpeople.se 

Visitors with children

We recommend all our regular performances from 13 years old. Children's performances have a specified age limit depending on the target group. The age limit in the theatres is 5 years, unless otherwise stated.

Wardrobe

For performances at the main stage we have a manned cloakroom which you will find on our lower level. The fee is 20 SEK/jacket.
For performances at Black box and The studio scene we have an unmanned cloakroom in the small foyer next to each stage

Bags in the lounge

We ask you to avoid bringing large bags to our performances as far as possible. There is a manned cloakroom on our lower ground floor and if you have a bag larger than A4 size, please leave it there.

Salons

Dansens Hus at Norra Bantorget has three stages; Stora scen with about 782 seats, Blackbox with about 140 seats and Studioscen with about 119.
