Performances, studio presentations and talks in Stockholm

36 hours of dance is a packed programme of performances, studio presentations and talks showcasing some of the most exciting choreographers working in Sweden today.

Taking place in Stockholm on 23–24 October 2026, the programme brings together artists, presenters and programmers to explore new choreographic works and artistic practices.

The programme includes:
GAME ON by Cristina Caprioli – (world premiere) – at Dansens Hus Main Stage.
and from their hair, unending forest by Adam Seid Tahir – at MDT Moderna Dansteatern.
flesh chariot, chariot of flesh by Faye Driscoll – performed and produced by Cullberg – at Riksteatern.
– 4 Studio Presentations by Alma Söderberg, Björn Säfsten, Lisa Janbell and Ofelia Jarl Ortega – on the Dansens Hus Studio stage.
– Networking, pitches, and meet-and-greet introductions within the Swedish independent scene community.

Created to support the international visibility and circulation of choreography based in Sweden, 36 hours of dance provides a context for discovery, dialogue and future collaboration between artists and organisers.

Tickets for shows will be provided for guests taking part in 36 hours of dance.

Please note that ‘36 hours of dance’ is a curated programme for presenters, programmers and curators working in the field of contemporary dance and choreography, both nationally and internationally. Due to venue capacity restrictions, the number of places available for the event is limited. Once you have registered, you will be notified of availability. Please register as soon as possible.
