exChange Mozambique-Sweden is an artistic exchange project where choreographers and dancers from both countries work with an inclusive perspective on the body and choreography.

We want to enable an exchange of knowledge and inspiration on issues related to the art of dance and the different shape, colour and function of our bodies with a focus on inclusion and exclusion. The exchange project runs for one year and consists of three parts: the symposium exChange Perspectives held at DOCH and Dansens HUS on 27-28 March, a workshop in Maputo in July and finally two performances at Dansens Hus in December 2015 where choreographer Panaibra Gabriel Canda and choreographer Carl Olof Berg each present a work.

The initiative is driven by Dansens Hus in Stockholm and CulturArte in Maputo, in co-operation with DOCH School of Dance and Circus Arts/Stockholm University of the Arts, and Skåne Dance Theatreand is implemented with the support of PostcodeLottery Cultural Foundation and Swedish Institute.
