You see them everywhere; the statues of kings and warriors on horseback. Stoic. Magnificent. Silently staring out at the world. But where are the women?

This was the starting point for choreographer Anna Källblad and artist Helena Byström's work City Horses.

Here, dance meets the public sculptures you pass every day in parks and squares. It is an urban choreography in constant motion - about power, existence and the female body in public space. A tribute, and at the same time a kind of monument, to the strength and courage of the horse girls, on a par with the riders on the horse statues around Europe.

The dance gallop starts and ends at Norra Latins Gård on Norra Bantorget and takes place between 14-16. The route is about 7 km in total.
