Mari Carrasco and the dancers in Carrasco Dance presents its first full-evening work at Dansens Hus in January. Ready Ready is about risking everything, knowing that it can either work or fail. The main theme of the show is a struggle for love, which is portrayed by six female dancers on stage.

Together with her dancers, Mari Carrasco has developed a spirited movement language with lots of fun and humour. With the award-winning performance BARTOLOMEOthey have performed all over the world. Last year, Carrasco Dance collaborated with Unga Klara and Västmanlandsteater and staged the audience success; Girls Will Make You Blush, directed and choreographed by Mari Carrasco and Gustav Deinoff.

Mari Carrasco is Choreographer on site spring 2016.

'Mari Carrasco's choreographies are characterised by a strong and physical language of movement. In her work, she wants to start from a feminist perspective and confront issues of gender and representation.

- I want my work to dare to break norms. I want to find a different representation on stage and turn what has traditionally been considered specifically female or male upside down."
