The performance is characterised by Naharin's fascination with the body, expressing movement from the tips of his fingers to his toes. The hour-long work is performed by 17 dancers and consists of three parts: Bellus to Glenn Golds classic recording of Bachs Goldberg variations, Humus to calm electronic music by Ohad Fishof and finally the longest part; Secus which is characterised by pop music and fragmented movements.
- There is no getting away from Ohad Naharin's huge impact on contemporary dance. His own movement method, Gaga, is designed to heal and strengthen the body. The combination of this training, which makes the dancers both sensitive and explosive, and Ohad Naharin's tightly structured dramaturgy makes Three into a masterpiece. I want to offer our audience a chance to experience this," says Dansens Hus Theatre Manager. Annelie Gardell.
