A rippling fountain echoes with songs of loss, dusty books hide stories of longing, and a new adventure awaits around the corner. Three playful characters lead you through a magical world where objects transform, time behaves differently and the line between reality and fantasy blurs.
Step into the World of the "figurer" where each room invites new ways to participate, experience and view the performance. Figurernas värld is a promenade performance for children aged 3 - 6 that explores dreams, the magic of everyday life and a longing to be seen.
Figurernas värld premieres at and is co-produced by Dansens Hus.

About Hugo Hedberg
Hugo Hedberg is a choreographer and artist based in Stockholm. With a background in art, pedagogy and choreography, Hugo strives to create imaginative, inviting and melancholic experiences. He is interested in creating all-encompassing works with humour and many backgrounds through dance, text and music.
Hugo's work consists of choreography for both dance and theatre and art workshops for children of different ages. His practice is interdisciplinary, moving between different choreographic and artistic contexts.
Hugo has performed works at venues such as Weld and Marabouparkens konsthall in Stockholm and has been part of various collaborations shown at Rosendal Theatre in Trondheim, Ung Scen Öst in Linköping, Teatergarasjen in Bergen and Scenehuset in Oslo.
Based on Hugo's earlier work Figurer, Figurernas värld was born from children's curious questions about what happened in the characters' lives after the show ended.
