A seal-crazy family show about the desire to be a seal. What is it to be sociable and how is one sociable? Is sociability a question of how we communicate with our surroundings and each other? And what would happen if we were all seals?

The performance Society is inspired by the seal man Selkie - an oceanic myth about a creature that is half seal, half human. Using this legendary figure as a starting point, two dancers meet in a fantasy world where the physical body suffers from both homesickness and wanderlust.

Society is a children's show for adults with a seriousness for the little ones from 8 years old. In a stage filled with hand-blown glass beads, sequins and fake fur, the show plays with the idea of being someone or something else. Maybe a seal?

To the sound of clicking keyboards, selkies and digital correspondence are sent to our inner seal. Without whiskers, we enter a magical world of sound that oscillates between the imaginary and the real.

Society is a sensory immersion for all ages - an underwater world on land, where the audience can see, hear and feel dance.

The show is recommended from 8 years old.
