Both works deal with the transience of time, but with totally different tempos and expressions.
I Ravels Bolero we are treated to a dedicated, delightfully uplifting dance tribute to Ravel. A duet that makes you want to spontaneously dance in the pews.
I solot "Now, before we get too old" we encounter a more reflective state - a notion of enjoying the movement and taking time for it. A short hour filled with ecstasy and reflection - dance art at its best.
About the choreographer
Jesús Rubio Gamo
Jesús Rubio Gamo is a freelance choreographer based in Madrid. He has two master's degrees in dance and has presented his work at national and international festivals. As well as on stage, his work has been performed in museums, squares and streets. For two consecutive years, Jesús' work has been selected in the European dance network Aerowaves.
