Urban Connection is organised by Dansens Hus and the selection for the festival is mostly done in dialogue with practitioners in the field.

About Urban

For this year's festival Alexander Dam and Theresa Gustavsson co-organised Urban: Battle 2020 together with Dansens Hus. Alexander Dam has also worked as project manager for Take the floor.

In the autumn, an open call was launched for artists to submit their proposals for the festival.

The jury in the selection of the performance "Skiftet" by Johanna Fröjd consisted of Sofia Södergård and Maele Sabuni

In the selection of the performance "Room 02:53" by The Lobby, the jury consisted of  Sofia Södergård, Maele Sabuni and Viktor Fröjd

The jury also selected four groups for "Take the floor" together with project manager Alexander Dam.
