Get ready for a whirlwind of choreographic anarchy. And remember - there's more than one way to die.

In Clowns we face a murderous faction. Are they jokers? A psychotic pack? Or is it us? In an ominous and increasingly heightened euphoria, they compete to see who can murder the most. All to a score of pulsating lights and humming voices that hypnotise us into becoming spectators of this macabre ceremony. A sickening, theatrical parody of a world where violence is an endless spectacle. How far are we prepared to go in the name of entertainment?

The second part of the evening: The Fix is its opposite. The tempo slows down, the music softens, the dancers meet us naked, raw and empathetic. Although death lurks just below the surface, a ray of light shines. The Fix is an injection of antidote and an attempt to repair the relationship between the dancers themselves and the audience - a time to repair the living.

Double Murder had its world premiere in September 2021 at Sadler's Wells in London. Clowns was originally a film production for the BBC. The Fix is Hofesh Shechter's first work for his own company since the acclaimed "Grand Finale" which was shown at Dansens Hus in autumn 2019.
