Welcome to a month of African dancers, choreographers and musicians. Something we have been looking forward to for a long time!
Acclaimed choreographer Dada Masilo's explorations of timeless conflicts like Romeo and Juliet are celebrated, loved and toured all over the world. She brings her take on Swan Lake to Dansens Hus.
Street dance from Brazzaville and urban dance from Johannesburg come with Vuyani Dance Theatre. They are also part of the Exchange South Africa - Sweden, where dancers from South Africa and Sweden develop together. Two of the dancers will present their performance Side 2 Side in April.
Panaibra Canda's highly productive collective CreativeArts offers two intense dance sessions. In April, Sousou and Maher Cissoko also choose to release their third album here with us.
