The performance features two of Sweden's foremost artists in their respective genres: the violin virtuoso and the Bach specialist Semmy Stahlhammer who is the first concertmaster at the Royal Opera, and the street dancer Maele Sabuni - acclaimed dancer who has won several prestigious awards and also performed in the schlager festival.
Maele and Semmy were born in Sweden and are children of refugees. Semmy carries a Jewish heritage and Maele a Congolese one. In Bach in the street they share a story about inheriting and carrying memories, escaping, rooting in new soil, finding their place and how different cultures can make a person grow.
Bach in the Street has won 'Best Small Ensemble' in the Yamawards - an international competition for productions for children and young people.
After the performance, there will be an opportunity to talk to the performers.
