Exhibition Blue Congo 22 February 2017

Programme

Blue Congo is an interactive artwork that has been presented, among others, in the exhibition Recognisablewhich has been shown in art centres around Sweden. The artwork consists of a 2×3 metre platform and six contact microphones mounted on the floor that pan the sound produced when you touch it. Here, the traditional hierarchy of the senses is cancelled and the visual no longer needs to be decisive. Blue Congo is a call for increased sensory stimulation in relation to our body and its movement in both everyday contexts and in theatrical performances.

During the exhibition period for Blue Congo you can also come and experience the work with dancer Tanja Andersson, before and after the following performances:
