When the battle-crew Swedish Family's members Theresa Gustavsson and Cajsa Godée create their own work, they take the opportunity to invite street dancers and musicians to join them. Niki Tsappos, Madeleine Ngoma and Jacob Tellin to experiment with the voice as part of their bodily instrument.
In the performance Vivrant thing, which is largely based on improvisation, creates a landscape of sound, movement and heavy beats. The ensemble approaches the close relationship between street dance and music with a creative curiosity. With their physical and non-physical instruments, they play their way to a powerful and listening performance where the audience has the opportunity to see, hear and be part of the landscape that arises in the moment.
