Slow beings slow themselves down, slow beings - being slow, dancing as if in a slow motion attack.In a slow fireworks display they explore inner and outer temporalities.

As a tribute to the slowed-down tempo, the dancers S L O W I N G S through time. In Lisen Ellard's work, the audience is invited to slow down with the dancers, to let slowness prevail and make room for quiet movements. 

The work was created by Lisen Ellard in close collaboration with Mira Mutka. Ellard has also collaborated with the composer and musician Petter Granberg, who in addition to his own compositions under his own name has also produced and composed music for El Perro del Mar and Mattias Alkberg, among others. 

In spring 2024, Lisen Ellard will be presenting an exhibition of Dirgy Dancing at Art Lab Gnesta and Fullersta Farm. Dirgy Dancing could be seen at Dansens Hus in spring 2022. In spring 2025 she will tour with DEATH with the National Theatre.
