In collaboration with Folkets Bio, we are previewing the Mr Gaga, the documentary film about the legendary choreographer Ohad Naharin who is appearing at Dansens Hus in November with her company Batsheva Dance Company.

Despite taking his first dance lessons at the age of 22, Ohad Naharin has become one of the most interesting and celebrated dancers and choreographers in contemporary dance. With over 1200 hours of raw footage, his friend and filmmaker has Tomer Heymann chiselled out a nuanced portrait of Ohad - the man who created a new 'dance language' called Gaga, which went on to redraw the entire map of modern dance. His efforts as artistic director of Israel's Batsheva Dance Company also saw the dance company develop into perhaps the world's finest.
