Paradox-Sal celebrates twelve years of sisterhood, dance and struggle with its first fully self-produced work WOMAN, a choreographic declaration of love for the women they have been, are and will be.
House and hip-hop merge in a heartfelt and pulsating universe where every step, every movement creates new layers in the story of the group's shared identity.
WOMAN is also a tribute to all those who have crossed the collective's path over the years - those who have stood in the spotlight, as well as worked in silence. All of them have inspired, influenced and shaped Paradox-Sal into what it is today.
The Paradox-Sal dance collective was founded by the legendary Ousmane ”Babson” Sy, with the vision of bringing together women dancers from different styles and backgrounds with house as the common denominator. Today, the group is one of Europe's most vital force fields of women dancing, creating and changing - a movement rather than a collective. After Ousmane's tragic passing in 2020, Paradox-Sal has continued to evolve, and WOMAN marks their first performance where every element - from choreography to concept – bears the group's own signature.
The show is touring with Dance network Sweden spring 2026 with the support of the French Institute in Sweden.
