Step into a strange experience. In a room covered in grass-green felt, you can take on a mini-golf course while a bunch of cats scurry around your legs.Slightly absurd and literally, for the whole family.

that that cat is a choreographic installation by choreographer Pontus Pettersson in collaboration with
with choreographer Cristina Caprioli and in co-production with ccap. that
that cat
is part of PASS I HALL (Performing Art Stockholm South). Played
for the public during weeks 41 and 42 at Hallen in Farsta.

"to cat" is a collection of choreographic proposals interwoven (or entangled) with thoughts on artistic heritage, re-creation, repetition as displacement, text and the language of dance. Typological, typographical, a landscape, typically feline.

In autumn 2022, Dansens Hus will start a collaboration with Hallen in Farsta.
All events at Hallen are free to the public.

Pontus Pettersson

Pontus Pettersson is a Swedish artist and choreographer based in Stockholm. Pontus works in the expanded field of choreography, art and contemporary dance. His artistic work is a mixture of different practices and genres, where text, objects, sculptures and choreographic instructions are interlinked. By applying choreography to everything he does, his work goes from installations, poetry and fountains to objects, cat practice and dance. Pontus received his dance training at Denmark's National School of Performing Arts and holds a master's degree in choreography from Stockholm University of the Arts and one in visual arts from Konstfack. Besides his artistic work, he works with the participatory and movement-based platform Delta with Izabella Borzecka and the dance and performance festival My Wild Flag with Karina Sarkissova.
