I SAI TRIO flamenco, contemporary art music and jazz meet. Flamenco dancer Sònia Sánchez joins musicians Agustí Fernández and Ivo Sans in an innovative performance based on improvisation.

Piano, drums and flamenco heels form the basis of this rhythmic trio that is as much a concert as a dance performance.

Catalan dancer Sònia Sánchez is one of the flamenco world's true innovators. With a classical training as her base, she has continued to explore the expression, body language and essence of flamenco in her quest to realise her own version of the dance. Since discovering the Japanese dance styles of butoh and body weather, she has also used these techniques to find new rhythms and new ways of creating.

SAI TRIO is an unexpected encounter between different elements where the whole is much greater than the sum of the parts.
