Selma is the love and communion between the work and its creator; a portrait of a relationship that shows how we co-create each other.
Linda Blomqvist relates to the work as she relates to a subject. For her, investing in a work is closely related to investing in a relationship.
- It goes both ways, you have to go along and want to be changed and enlightened by the other. A large part of the creation is about nurturing and cultivating, being present and listening while being clear about your own wishes, needs and limits. How can you experience something that cannot be understood cognitively?
LINDA BLOMQVIST
For some time now Linda has been spending time with, writing to and about, dancing with and for, feeling and sharing with Selma. All these ways of building a relationship and togetherness have then crystallised into a performance.

Briefly about THE VIBE
The Vibe is a performance that can be described as a club, and a sociability where we can socialise and dance with each other. The Vibe brings together the dances we carry within us. It reuses and utilises these materials that we have created and that we care about. Each dance is treated as an autonomous object that now has a new life outside its original context.
In this space, materials from different contexts, times and expressions can be woven together and give birth to a new impact.
