ICE HOT is a collaboration between five Nordic dance organisations: Dansens Hus Stockholm, Dansehallerne in Copenhagen, Performing Arts Center Iceland, Dansens Hus Oslo and Cirkus and dance info Finland. The platform is aimed at presenters, programmers and the dance industry from around the world. The aim is to give more Nordic choreographers, productions and companies an opportunity to tour internationally, and to be a place where the dance field can meet and share ideas.

Since ICE HOT started in 2010, around 2000 international guests have visited the festival to see 140 productions by 230 companies and choreographers. And interest is growing; in this year's edition in Oslo, many had to be put on a waiting list. Today, ICE HOT is recognised as one of Europe's largest platforms for contemporary dance. The programme this year includes 40 different dance performances, several seminars, workshops and pitches. During 4 days, contemporary dance programmers from all over the world come together to be introduced to choreographers and dancers from Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Iceland.

The very first ICE HOT took place in 2010 in Stockholm, and has since been organised in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland.

- It will be wonderful to once again organise the platform in Stockholm. We look forward to welcoming Nordic and international guests from the entire dance world to our house. says Johannes Öhman, Theatre Director and Artistic Director of Dansens Hus.

The programme will be organised in collaboration with several venues around Stockholm.
The exact dates of the ICE HOT 2026 are not yet finalised.
