Marguerité Mbolo and Julia Rauti of France are holding an inspiring seminar for people interested in finding out how streetdance/hip hop developed and established itself as a performance art expression in France. A seminar for those looking for inspiration and/or concrete examples of how someone else went about starting up and running their own artistic operation.

Performance lecture


Under the artistic direction of Niki Tsappos, Deborah Dorzile and Marguerité Mbolo, this performance lecture focuses on the theatrical history of hiphop. The lecture is based on flashbacks of selected choreographic work and a work-in-progress by dancers from France and Sweden will also be shown in conjunction with the lecture.
