Eurydice is dead and protagonist examines both the need and the aftermath of a revolution.

The meeting of two monumental choreographies from the The Cullberg Ballet repertoire brings a new energy that allows the audience to see the inherent artistic qualities of each work. Eurydice is dead premiered in January 1968 and became an important political work about the individual's struggle against power and oppression in a dictatorship. Birgit Cullberg was inspired by the film The Battle of Algiers, organised by Gillo Pontecorvo and Greek mythology.
The music is by Ennio Morricone. The revival of Birgit Cullberg's Eurydice is Dead is in collaboration with Mats Ek and Ana Laguna.

protagonist of Jefta van Dinther was created with fourteen dancers and premiered at Julidans in Amsterdam in the summer of 2016, to the song of the musical prodigy. ELIAS.
