I am training to become a superhero. I've realised that there's something in here, in my body, that can transform me. I can't fly, I can't run very fast or climb walls... yet. But when that - which is there inside me - is activated, it's like I feel exactly everything all the time. When I dance, waves ripple across the water and when I jump, the ground shakes.

When I jump the ground shakes is a dance performance for children aged 5-9 years. Inspired by science fiction, three dancers come together in a playful exploration of how emotions such as joy, anger and empathy can develop into what we call superpowers.

In co-production with Dansens Hus.
