Dansens Hus and Cirkus Cirkör invite you to a dialogue about equal leadership and new creative processes.

Ida Östensson begins with a seminar on methods, ideas and experience in running solution-focused equality work. Cirkus Cirkör presents her work with the new performance Epifónima [Exclamation], and how the group works across borders and co-creation. The subsequent panel discussion will place Ida's creative processes and goals in relation to the creative team and the work of the Cirkör ensemble.

Epifónima

The seminar is part of Cirkus Cirkör's project on new productions. EpifónimaEpifónima is an all-arts work created by female circus artists and creative teams in a co-creative process. Epifónima means exclamation and the work is inspired by women's voices, aspirations and ways of creating and organising themselves.

The performance is shown at Dansens Hus 30 Nov 2018 - 6 Jan 2019. Tickets will be released on 8 March.

Ida Östensson

Opinion leader, feminist and lecturer on equality issues.

In 2010 she founded the Foundation Make Equal In 2013, she co-founded the FATTA movement, which fights against sexual violence and for consent in practice and legislation. In the summer of 2016, within the framework of Make Equal, Östensson started killmiddag.se to engage boys in the fight against sexual violence. In 2017, Make Equal released the project Skärpning, which works against online hate and for an inclusive online climate, where Östensson is one of the front figures.

Östensson is also behind high-profile PR campaigns such as Twitter dress, Twee-q, #skitikön, #inteerkvinna and #ochjagprotesterade.

Östensson is an active voice in the public debate where she often speaks out on issues of gender equality, online hate, sexual violence and macho culture, writes columns in ETC and occasionally appears as a guest writer in other magazines.
